For its Fall 2022 campaign, Sam Edelman brought together one of fashion's most iconic forces, Naomi Campbell, photographer Steven Klein, stylist Patti Wilson, and makeup artist Pat McGrath, to produce a visual statement of unmatched caliber. The resulting imagery — black and white, high-contrast, unapologetically glamorous — demanded an equally rigorous creative hand on the brand side, ensuring the brand's identity held through the darkness of the aesthetic, its product and logo present and unmistakable in every frame. The campaign logo, designed in-house, anchored every application across OOH, print, and digital, with placements in Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and WWD, billboards in New York and Los Angeles, and retail environments across the US, China, Korea, and beyond. The year saw new Caleres Brand Portfolio customer acquisition grow 28%.
